Test Anxiety

1. Breathe
Focus on your heart, breathe five seconds in and five seconds out.

2. Think positively

  • Positive: What if I remember everything?
  • Negative: What if I fail?

  • Positive: What if I feel calm?
  • Negative: What if I am shaking?

3. Happy place
Remember something that makes you feel good:
  • Your pet
  • A hug
  • A fun day at an amusement park.
Hold this thought in your mind for ten seconds.

4. Sleep
Sleep 8 or 10 hours before a big test.
The night before the test, RELAX!
  • Play a board game
  • Watch a movie
  • Do a sport
Take your mind off the test for a few hours.

5. Eat breakfast:
