Dear Class Parents,

As we begin learning about American and Emirati money, we want to set up a class store. The students and I are requesting that parents send in high interest, inexpensive items for students to buy. We will price and include all the items in the class store. Students received manipulative US Dollars in class today. Students will be able to buy rewards from the class store.

Some items I already have in the store include pencils, bubbles, and stickers. In the past I have had markers, erasers, water gun toys, fabric and glass paint, hand fans, games, reading books, and modeling clay. I spend up to, but no more than 20 Dirhams on each item.

If each family sends in five different items, we should have plenty of things for students to buy. Please send in these items with your child no later than Sunday, April 13, 2008. Thank you for your cooperation and participation.
